Education for India is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to deliver supplies and lessons directly to poor students in India. Through our aid, we hope to improve the quality of education for millions of students!
Due to ubiquitous corruption of governmental figures in India, the government funds towards schools and education are often stolen, leaving little to no funds for the students. Our goal is to conduct lessons and deliver supplies directly to the students, which prevents corruption from occurring.

With schools that lack basic facilities such as electricity, study materials, drinking water, and classrooms, it is vital to improve the quality of education and help provide it! With this lack of basic facilities also accompanies a lack of information taught due to short funding, thus Education for India will further support education through holding workshops and lessons across India!

Through your donations, we will be able to provide educational supplies to poor students, infrastructure to schools, and knowledge to all!

PROBLEMS FOR STUDENTS/CHILDREN WITHIN INDIA
Over 12 million children (aged 5 - 14) work within horrid conditions and leave education to support their families. Child labor is extremely common throughout India and is a vital problem that needs to be solved.
Violence and abuse is also a common occurrence! India is the third-largest contributor to child homicide in the world!
For India as a whole, access to education is a key issue, and one of the nation's biggest problems! India contains the largest number of illiterate people in the world at 287 million adults! This is due to the inequality between states and the amount they are able to spend on education. Children in rural areas commonly abandon education and go straight into labor. This statement can be further illustrated by how 42.7 million children in India are out of school!
